Responding to emergencies

Your task this lesson is to research the STOP, RICER and DRABCD techniques for managing sporting injuries and make up a powerpoint on one of these techniques. These will be embeded into your blog at a later point and other people may choose to embed your powerpoint in their blog also, so please take the time to complete this task accurately.

Coaching Styles

We have looked at the coaching styles that coaches may employ to lead their athletes and when each style may be appropriate.Your task is to write a post on your blog about when you think each coaching style may be appropriate when coaching at school sport.

Coaching Philosophy

As part of our unit on “Operate in accord with accepted coaching practices, styles and legal and ethical responsibilities” you are required to “clarify personal philosophies relating to sportsmanship, winning/losing and holistic development of the athlete in relation to particular situations and athlete groups”.Your task is to write a post on your blog in regards to your ‘coaching philosophy’. Coaching Evaluations

Your first task with your blog is to upload your school sport organisation documents along with each of your evaluations. You upload documents in the “write post” screen and scroll down the page where you browse for your document and upload it. We will go through this in class. All of this documentation will go towards your evidence of competency so ensure you have it uploaded on your blog.
